Maxie Maddock sat next to me at a dinner a month or so ago.  By the end of dinner we’d swapped numbers and 5 weeks later I showed her her new website.  She is a remarkable lady – and runs her own lavender farm, ‘A Wee Bit of Heaven’ here in Healesville, single handedly.  And we’re talking 20 acres – of lavender and rosemary that she plants, harvests and distils herself.

She then creates wonderful home-grown hand-made products, including bottles of beautiful pure essential oils.  Her products are gorgeous, (lavender is not just for old ladies – I’m a convert) extremely reasonably priced and are ‘made with more love than chemicals’. They make great gifts.

I really hope the website will help Maxie to sell more product further afield than just country Victoria where she sells at markets every week end.  So please go on and have a look at her site, tell your friends about it and try her products too – all easily ordered from her site and without budging from your chair!
